Not easy to find cheap one in Dublin. This one it has what it offers.
Don't expect too much for the amount of money you paid. The place is not as nicely kept as you expected, just treat it like a standard average hostel. The kitchen is somehow in a sorry state, although it is functioning.

Just only the informations we got from the guys at the reception.
Shower: water didn´t drained off / no possibility to adjust the water temperature due to missing faucet which was not replaced so far. Cleanliness: the room was dirty everywhere, bathroom not cleaned up for a long time

Leaving.
The staff attitude , the toilets in the private rooms didn't flush properly, there were old toenail clippings on the floor in our room, there were rats in the court yard, the shower is like a gas chamber, the shower was hard to turn off, there was mould under some of the beds.

Well localized, close to the heart of Dublin. Staff is ok.
Room was very dirty and wasn't cleaned in any of the two days we stayed there. The room bathroom door didn't had a working lock so we had to use a bag to close it when we were sleeping. Surroundings are very noisy and the hostel windows are single paned, so we had to sleep with an alarm from some store ringing during all night. The shared bathrooms are very dirty as well. When you are going up the stairs, the steps look like they are going to break and fell off.

Close to the city center
We've stayed in the triple room, very basic facilities, slight lack of cleanliness, no towels in the room, only very hot water in the shower, noisy bunk beds, it was noisy at night because it is beside a main road.

Location. Cheap.
Place is not exactly dirty. It is not clean though. Grubby I would say. Bed was clean though. Very basic. Not best organised so make sure you take your proof of booking.

The beds in the private ensuite room were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny however and could do with updating. 2 of us stayed in a dorm for our last night and again the beds were comfortable and clean, the communal bathroom was fine. However, the noise levels of the other dorm occupants was unacceptable and they were screaming with the receptionist at 3am while other people were trying to sleep. There was no one around to shut them up.
The small bathroom, the bad decor and the moldy walls in the bathroom.

The location was good.
In the room was two bunk beds when we had booked a double room! The hostel was full of dust and mould and i informed the manager it was not acceptable who said "This happens some times". He said that they had another hostel 5 min walk away which we could stay at. The other hostel's bathrooms both in our room and the shared shower room had mould. However, it was a double room this time at least!

Staff were friendly. Other guests were friendly. Location was convenient to city centre and theatres.
Noise from late night clubbers leaving drinking establishments at 3 am, although I didn't feel threatened. Wardrobe in room a bit tatty. Floor of bedroom somewhat dusty around the edges.

The guy in reception was very helpful. the location was very central.
The hostel is filthy and the room was not only dirty but also doors were hanging off or missing. It cost more for a room in this hostel as we paid for any other very comfortable hotel room on our trip round Ireland. It cost twice as much as other very clean hostels we had a private room in.
